Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is located just next to the beach, offering an amazing place for long walks and chilling out together in the evening. The rooms, though very small, provided the amenities we needed; however, the strong damp smell, especially in the bathroom, was off-putting. The service was attentive, with staff following me around to ensure settling up was smooth. The remote location, while perfect for a quiet getaway, lacked nearby amenities apart from a few shops and a cafe/bar.
The hotel is situated in a stunning area of the Welsh coast with Snowdonia as a backdrop, right on the seafront, offering a comfortable and welcoming stay. The rooms, albeit a bit cramped for two elderly people, were clean but quite hot at 26-28 degrees, despite the air conditioning struggling to cool it down. The service provided by the owners was excellent, going above and beyond to ensure our happiness, offering a freshly cooked Indian meal even after last orders. As a base to explore the surrounding area, the location is perfect, being remote yet opposite the beach and within walking distance of Carmarthen airport for pleasure flights. The dining experience was flexible and accommodating, even cooking items not on the menu, using local fresh products. However, the hotel lacks spacious rooms and modern amenities.
The hotel offers clean and warm rooms that are slightly small but provide all the necessary amenities. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to accommodate guests. The location is superb, ideal for exploring Northern and Central Wales. The dining experience was amazing with a wide choice of delicious dishes. The facilities were top-notch, enhancing the overall stay.
